Cosmos
Great mind-expanding stuff. Carl Sagan is the man not only in his knowledge of science but the way he can captivate just about anyone through his writing.
It is not just a book though. Neil deGrasse Tyson narrates the series, & they have that as well as a newer one “Cosmos: Possible Worlds”on Disney+. I watched those both with the girls & they loved it! They also have the original 1980s Carl Sagan series on YouTube that I want to check out, as well as the book version of the new series.
Tools of Titans
Tim Ferriss is also the author of "The Four Hour Workweek" and has a podcast where he has interviewed many high-performers for actionable tips. This book is like a best of those guests/tips, & I highly recommend it. The book is organized in 3 sections – health, wealthy, & wise.
Leonardo Da Vinci
I didn't know what to expect from reading about someone's life from the renaissance period, but I'm glad I picked this one up. He had many interests & notebooks with thousands of pages of what he studied, and it was great to enter his world of discovery.
Quit Like a Millionaire
Financial books can definitely get dry with how to information, but this one is just a great story as well. This one was worthy to setup a book meetup, & I've made a few great friends along the way while pursuing a life of financial independence.
This is How They Tell Me The World Ends: The Cyberweapons Arms Race
Does cybersecurity excite you? Before I knew much, I thought the topic would be overly technical and put me to sleep. Then as I learned more, I became fascinated about the global cyber war that is going on all around us. This book perfectly captures that, and was exactly what I needed when I was studying for one of my cybersecurity exams.
